PPWR — Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation

Regulation (EU) 2025/40 has applied since 12 August 2026. Under it, the company that puts packaging on the market under its own brand is the legal producer. That is you, not us, regardless of who ran the press. Our job is to give you the documentation that lets you meet that obligation.

With every order we supply:

  • A declaration on restricted substances, covering PFAS and the heavy-metal limits under Article 5
  • Material composition and weight data for your EPR reporting
  • Traceability data linking the job to the board mill and batch
  • Economic operator identification data for on-pack marking

What we check, on every order
  • Incoming board: thickness and moisture, checked against the mill certificate on every delivery
  • First-off approval against the signed production sample
  • In-run colour, every 500 sheets, against the signed proof
  • Foil adhesion: cross-hatch tape test
  • Assembled box: dimension and squareness, 5 units per 1,000
  • Pre-shipment: 3 units inspected per pallet

Confidentiality

We sign a mutual NDA before we quote, not after you place the order. Your artwork, structural drawings and volumes stay inside the job file. We do not publish client names without written permission, and we do not show your box to another buyer as a sample.
