Privacy notice
What we collect when you write to us, why, and how to make us stop.
MOTİF Ambalaj Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("MOTIF", "we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. This notice covers motifpackaging.com and the sample-kit request form — it does not cover any data processing inside a signed order or NDA, which is governed by that contract instead.

We have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer. Under Article 37 GDPR, a DPO is mandatory where core activities involve large-scale, regular and systematic monitoring, or large-scale processing of special-category data — neither of which describes what we do: a sample-kit form and direct correspondence. We keep this assessment under review as the business grows. Privacy questions go to the email above and reach a project engineer directly, not a call centre.

We do not ask for payment details, national ID numbers, or any special category of data (health, religion, etc.) anywhere on this site, and you should never send us any.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — see "Your rights" below. Withdrawing before the kit ships stops the request; withdrawing after only stops any further contact.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your details to any distributor, reseller or third-party marketing list. Nobody outside the list above sees your enquiry.
MOTIF is based in Türkiye, which does not have an EU adequacy decision. Two different transfers happen here, and we treat them differently. Your own enquiry — sending you the sample kit and replying to what you asked — is necessary to take the pre-contractual steps you requested (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR), which is the exception meant for exactly this kind of one-off, individual request rather than a standing arrangement. Separately, our processors (Resend, Cloudflare) are established providers who offer their own EU Standard Contractual Clauses to customers, which is what actually governs the data that passes through their infrastructure — not Art. 49(1)(b). Ask us for a status update on either at any time.

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand traffic and measure our advertising, and Google Tag Manager to run them. No analytics or marketing cookie is set unless you accept it in the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and the site works exactly the same either way.
