You have probably been told that a Turkish supplier is the cheap option with a risk attached. We would rather give you a document than an argument.
Türkiye and the European Union have been in a Customs Union since 1995. Industrial goods — packaging included — move between us on preferential terms, evidenced by an A.TR movement certificate issued with every EU shipment; your freight forwarder or customs broker can verify it before you place an order. UK-bound orders sit outside that mechanism and are assessed under the applicable UK tariff and origin rules for the specific product (HS) code — we confirm that on your quotation rather than assume a blanket rate.

Typical estimated road transit times — actual transit depends on route, full load vs. groupage, and customs/slot confirmation. Full loads and groupage both available; air freight for pre-launch quantities. For comparison: sea freight from the Far East runs 30–45 days port to port, before customs clearance and duty.
For an urgent quality issue, we agree a corrective-action and replacement schedule with you — road freight can turn that around in days, not the next container. This is the practical difference between a four-day truck and a six-week ship, and it is worth more than the unit price gap on any job with a launch date.
Your project engineer works from Istanbul, UTC+3 year-round (Türkiye does not change clocks for daylight saving, so the gap to Western Europe is 1 hour in winter and 2 hours in summer). You send a question in the morning and have an answer the same working day.
Small runs are economic. Our minimum is 1,000 units because a truck doesn't need to be full to leave.
At high volume with a long runway and no launch date, a Far East factory will beat us on unit price. We will tell you that on the call rather than after you have compared the quotes yourself.
